South Coast Road trip in Australia

Hey guys,

my page about my road trip from Sydney to Perth is FINALLY ready for you!!!

—>Click here to get straight on it 🙂

Make sure to also check out all the links on that site to get even more information to each place we stayed at during that trip.

Just looking at all those places makes me wanna grab my backpack and hit the road again 😉

Feel free to hit me up for questions.

Some tips on the road:

1)Don’t plan to much – GO WITH THE FLOW! Of course, you need a departure and a destination. But keep the rest open. Take it DAY BY DAY. Why? We found so incredible places, just because we saw a sign next to the road. We didn’t mind to drive some extra miles to follow those signs and IT WAS WORTH IT!

Check out my Instagram Page so see some of the pictures we took along the road.

2)Make sure to have good Internet/phone reception. I used T-mobile and it worked out pretty well for me. Just talk to the locals before your trip and ask them which phone company is recommended at the moment.

3)Buy or rent a car that fit a mattress inside – on my page Roadtrip – South Coast Australia you’ll find some pics of our car… REGGIE was old , rusty and cheap 😀 BUT he was very comfortable and did bring us from A to B. Anyways, you’ll save a lot on accommodation!

4) Make sure to have the follow accounts:

Couch-surfing is THE thing in Australia. It’s for FREE and the perfect opportunity to meet locals who can show you Australia from a locals point of view! I know staying in a strangers house seems scary for Europeans and probably for anyone who wasn’t backpacking in Australia yet. But the hosts have to provide a profile of them with pictures and you’ll find reviews that should be read very accurate. I can only talk for us girls but make sure to either choose another female as host or a couple and double check the amount and quality of reviews they have so far. And once you meet them: go with your guts, if you don’t feel comfortable, you don’t have to stay!

But for me, couch-surfing was one of the best things I did in my life. I met AMAZING people who taught me so much about Australian culture and simply about LIFE! And til today we keep in touch through social media :-))

Save travels!
